FoStA PROJECT -
Following a storm in December 2011, a large branch from a horse chestnut tree fell into a garden adjacent to the churchyard.
The County Forrester advised that the tree should be pollarded to a height of 4 metres
to minimise the risk of damage to church windows and nearby graves -
The cost (£330) was met by a grant from FoStA.
The branch that fell …
… and where it was!
… now pollarded.
